WARNING!! GINORMOSAUR FILE!!

A sharp pain dug into his stomach, his neck, his whole body. Tigerstar yowled in agony, his blood spilling on the ground. He looked into the sneering face of his once-ally with horror that one he trusted so lightly could turn so fast. As his blood poured from his wound, Tigerstar felt his life slip away. Fear filled him to the brim. Fear that he would die. Black patches encroached on his vision, blocking out the light of the world. He felt himself pass on.
Tigerstar arrived in a near-empty clearing, surrounded by dark trees. He looked around, wondering what was going on. A dark form slipped from the bushes, dead leaves rattling as he brushed by them.
“Brokenstar.”
“I see you remember me. I thought that you had become too arrogant,” the dead cat smirked. Tigerstar noticed that his eyes were no longer scratched out.
“Why am I here? Where are the stars?” He hated the feeling of helplessness. Brokenstar just padded a circle around the large tabby, stating, “StarClan is too weak to accept your attempt at a wonderful deed. They would not let you enter their territory. So they sent you here, and I took it upon myself to perform the ceremony.”
Tigerstar’s eyes never left the treacherous old ShadowClan leader as he inquired, “What ceremony?” The answer he received was straightforward and clear: “You are a leader. You have nine lives. You died. I have to take one life so you can go back and complete our plan. Are you ready?” Resigned, Tigerstar bowed his head. “Yes. I will kill both of them.” “And Leopardstar? You must control your feelings for her. She must die as well.”
The broad-shouldered tom almost snapped back, but bit his tongue. This old geezer was the only way he could get back to the battle and destroy his enemies once and for all. “They all will die,” he growled, though his mind did not agree. If given the chance, he would let the RiverClan leader live if she promised to be his mate.
“Very well then. You will return soon,” Brokenstar promised as he suddenly touched his nose to Tigerstar’s. This time, the pain was not like a boulder dropping on him—now, it was like a web, sliding from his nose over his body, thistles springing from every inch, stabbing into his skin with spines of fire. He gritted his teeth and squeezed his eyes shut, waiting for the pain to pass.
As the burning sensation subsided, Tigerstar blinked his eyes open. He was lying on his side in the midst of battle in a pool of his own blood. Scourge and Firestar were fighting it out a few foxlengths away. As the pain slowly receded, the large tom pulled himself to his feet painstakingly. No other cat noticed him, too drawn in on the deathmatch between Scourge and Firestar. When he was close enough, he leaped into the air, ignoring the relatively healed gash in his stomach, landing on Scourge.
“Foolish kit. Never lose the trust of a stronger cat,” Tigerstar snarled into the black cat’s ear, then clamped his jaws down on Scourge’s throat. He laughed inwardly in satisfaction as the blue eyes shot open in surprise, then dulled. Raising his head and licking the blood from his lips, he turned to Firestar, who had been standing, staring in horror. No one moved in front of him as he padded slowly to the ginger tom. “You have caused enough trouble, kittypet. I’ll show the clans an era of purity; no halfclans or kittypets tainting the blood of warriors,” Tigerstar growled. Firestar took a step back, trying and failing to stare the old leader down. “You will die, as will your pitiful kin.” Almost the instant after that, he was on his enemy, who he had bowled over with great speed. He placed his huge tabby paw on Firestar’s throat, cutting off his air, unsheathing his claws and drawing drops of blood. “Be glad I gave you the honor of dying at the paws of the future leader of the forest.” A strong note of delight rang in his deep voice. Then he bit the jugular of the cat he hated, watching with amusement as the light in the green eyes faded.
“The fire is put out! Join me, or join the ashes!”

Okay, so this is where I've been off to, artwise. This is for :iconwarriorcatsfanclub:'s contest:
What would've happened if they hadn’t died?
Obviosuly, I chose Tigerstar. Basicallky, its saying he only lost one life instead of all nine. That fire is supposed to be the firey depths of....the Dark Forest, and he came back to kick some whiney kitty butt. I really don't have anything against Scourge, but hey. It works.

This is probably the biggest piece I've ever done. I have put nine hours into it. The main reason for fire is I really did not feel like killing the piece with a gut wound. I'm really proud of this. :iconimhappyplz:
